The Research and Development Institute (RDI) is responsible for advancing the university’s research mission and enhancing its reputation at the local, national, and international levels. Originally established as the “Research and Educational Services Center,” the institute has undergone significant transformation in line with institutional and legislative developments.
In 1995, following the enactment of the Rajabhat Institute Act, Nakhon Ratchasima Teachers’ College was elevated to Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat Institute, and the center was renamed the “Office of Research and Academic Services.” Subsequently, in 2004, with the promulgation of the Rajabhat University Act, the institution was granted full university status, becoming Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University. The office was then officially designated as the “Research and Development Institute,” a title it holds to the present day.
The institute is structured as an academic unit equivalent to a faculty and is led by a Director, who serves as the chief executive officer. The Director reports directly to the President or an assigned Vice President. The institute’s identity is defined by its commitment to being a learning organization equipped with a modern management system, responsive to dynamic changes in both the academic and societal environment.
The Research and Development Institute is currently located on the 4th Floor of the Chalermprakiat Building, Room 9.04.07.
